The 86-year-old actress is best known for her character Jeannie in the famous tele-series I Dream Of Jeannie. Her parents had a divorce when Barbara was a child but her mother remarried and became the person behind Barbara’s interest in singing. She started making money by singing at a young age.

Later, she studied theater and embarked on her career as a film and television actress. Before I Dream Of Jeannie happened, Barbara starred in How To Marry A Millionaire, and also had roles in The Yellow Canary and The Brass Bottle.
