These Stars From The Golden Age Are Still Alive & Enjoying Life in Retirement

Marsha Hunt – 1917

Like many of her peers, Marsha Hunt was famous for her stunning beauty. She was the daughter of a lawyer and confessed that she was lucky enough to get a  good upbringing with scholarly parents.

She was noted for her films like Born To The West, Pride And Prejudice, and Raw Deal. Unlike the actresses of recent times, Marsha Hunt never made investments in real estate and lived in one home since 1946.

We guess this same house is also her retirement home. Hunt is part of history, having been the first black woman to have featured on the cover of the glossy magazine, Queen, and also appearing on Vogue in 1969 (the British edition). She was popular for her ferocity and we doubt her fierceness has paled with age! Her first marriage ended in a divorce, and she doesn’t have any biological child.
