Participants who were consuming black tea regularly for six weeks of the study handled these situations more efficiently than the other group.
This could be because black tea reduces the blood platelet activation in the body, which happens as a stress response usually. Platelet activation causes the blood to clot, which is a major cause of heart attack. So, one can confidently say that regular consumption of black tea keeps your stress levels low and reduces your risk of a heart attack.
Chamomile Tea – Reduces Irritability
A traditional remedy for numerous ailments chamomile tea bags is a must-have in every kitchen. Research shows that it is effective in reducing menstrual pains. Besides this chamomile tea also helps controlling diabetes, prevent osteoporosis, reduce inflammation, and reduce the risk of cancer.
Besides this, it reduces stress, anxiety, and irritability, thus helping you sleep better. A study on 12 cardiovascular patients found that they were able to fall asleep instantly and sleep better after consuming chamomile tea.
