As we age, our bodies will lose its luster of youth – our skin and hair, especially will look dull and dry and this prompts us to seek out magical potions that will hopefully rejuvenate our bodies. Spread a good amount on whichever area you want remedied, leave on for fifteen minutes, and wash it off. Your skin will definitely feel smoother afterwards and pimples will dry out in a matter of days. You can also add some coconut or jojoba oil with honey to apply on your face to clean out your pores – just make sure to avoid your eye areas. To exfoliate your skin, mix honey with some baking powder, apply it gently in circular motion, then rinse with tepid water.
Honey For Soft And Shiny Hair
Honey is great for your hair because of its humectant qualities. To make your hair shiny and soft, you can either apply some honey with coconut oil on slightly wet hair and leave for twenty minutes, or add one or two teaspoons of raw honey to your regular shampoo. Honey can even make your dandruff go away as it has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Moreover, it strengthens hair to prevent hair fall and encourage hair growth. Banana and honey make a mean hair mask that will leave your hair amazingly soft, however, the only downside is it’s hard to remove mashed banana from your hair.
Honey For Strong Nails
Most people forget or overlook the health of their nails but remember that every part of your body must be taken care of. Most of the time, our nails become yellow, the skin around them becomes tough, and believe it or not, honey can help improve nail health! Mix some honey, apple cider vinegar, and coconut oil, rub over your cuticles, and rinse off after ten minutes. Honey will heal and moisturize the skin naturally, vinegar makes hard, calloused skin softer, and coconut oil protects it further.
It seems like honey can be the answer to all your health or body-related issues. It is an easily available ingredient that we can always find in our kitchen. No need to waste a lot of money on expensive lotions and creams for the skin or hair masks. Honey can solve all your problems now!
