Prescription-strength vitamin A is also available, and this ingredient is showing up in more and more anti-aging cosmetics. The vitamin works by increasing the cell turnover in the uppermost layers of the skin which leads to a reduction in wrinkles and in an improvement of the skin tone in general.
Peptides are chains of amino acids that act as instructional molecules within the cells of your skin, signaling them on when to heal, to renew, and to slough away. A commonly known peptide is Argireline, which also goes by the name Matrixyl. It works effectively to soften crow’s feet. The compound achieves this by slow contraction of the very small muscles surrounding the eye area.
